Browser-Only Features
For browser-only tools (file encryption, password generator), your files and passwords are never sent to any server. All processing happens entirely within your browser. We collect no personal data beyond cookies and access logs.
Pro / Server Features
For secure file sharing, only the encrypted file (ciphertext) is temporarily stored on Cloudflare R2 (Tokyo region). The decryption key exists only in the URL fragment (#) and is never sent to our servers. Metadata (download count, expiry) is stored in Upstash Redis with automatic TTL expiration.
When creating a Pro account, we collect your email address and name via Clerk authentication.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymized usage statistics. IP addresses are anonymized, and no personally identifiable information is shared with Google.
Cookies
We use localStorage for theme preference (light/dark), GA4 cookies for analytics, and Clerk session cookies when using authentication features.

Data Retention & Deletion
Shared files are automatically deleted after their configured expiry period (max 30 days). Files that reach their download limit are deleted immediately. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your subscription, account information, and all associated data.
