Open the Encryption page
Go to the File Encryption page.
2
Select file and enter password
Choose the file you want to send and set a password.
3
Switch output format to 'Self-Decrypt HTML'
Below the password field, you'll find the output format selector. Choose 'Self-Decrypt HTML'.

4
Click 'Encrypt'
An HTML file will be created. Download and save it.
5
Deliver the HTML file
For larger files, we recommend using SecureMint's 'Secure File Sharing' to deliver the HTML file — one encrypted link, no size worries. For small files, chat or USB also work. Share the password separately (by phone, chat, etc.).
Recommended: Use Secure File Sharing
Or: Share directly via chat, USB drive, etc.
6
Recipient opens in browser
When the recipient opens the HTML file in their browser, a password prompt appears. After entering the password, the original file downloads.
