How to Use Secure Memo
Share passwords, API keys, and sensitive information securely with self-destructing memos. Automatically deleted after one view.
Basic Usage
Type your memo
Enter text on the Secure Memo page (up to 10,000 characters). Choose an expiry (1h / 6h / 24h). Optionally add password protection.
Encrypt and generate link
Click 'Encrypt & Generate Link'. Your memo is encrypted with AES-256-GCM in your browser. The decryption key is in the URL fragment (#) — never sent to the server.
Share the link
Copy the link and send via email or chat. Use 'Copy Email Template' for a ready-to-send message.
Auto-deleted after reading
When the recipient opens and views the memo, the encrypted content is immediately deleted from the server. Opening the link again shows 'deleted'.

Enter an email address and the recipient receives the memo link directly. Sent from noreply@securemint.app.
30-Second Delay & Cancellation
Email delivery shows a 30-second countdown. Press 'Cancel' to delete the memo before email is sent. Or press 'Send Now' to deliver immediately.
Read Receipt & IP Tracking
When a memo is read, the dashboard shows 'Read' status, read time, and the reader's IP address. Click the IP to see country, city, ISP, and organization details.
Post-Send Revocation
Revoke sent memos from the dashboard. After revocation, opening the link shows 'deleted'. If you notice a mistake, you can act before the recipient reads it.
Memo History
View sent memo history on the memo page and dashboard. See status (pending/unread/read/revoked), copy links, and revoke memos.
