How to Encrypt Files
Protect important files with a password. Only people who know the password can open the encrypted file.

Choose your file
Drag and drop the file you want to encrypt, or click to browse.

Set a password
Type a password. Make sure the strength meter shows 'Strong' or higher. Type the same password again to confirm.

Click 'Encrypt'
Press the button to start encryption. A progress bar shows how far along it is.

Download encrypted file
When done, a 'Download' button appears. Click to save. You can share this file via email or USB.

To decrypt (restore the original)
Switch to the 'Decrypt' tab, select the .enc file, enter the password, and the original file is restored.
Tips
- 💡Use 8+ characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- 🔒Your file is processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent over the internet
- 📁Encrypted files have a .enc extension
